2022.3 needs the URP14 version. The URP17 version is for Unity 6 only.

I'm trying to move my character from Character Creator 4 to Unity. The CC4 program materials are Digital Human and PBR. I attach photographs of the character export options (in FBX) and the character itself. I have tried exporting in Clothed Character and All. The version I am using of Unity is: 2022.3.41f1 LTS. I open a blank Universal 3D Core project (because I want to use URP). I have downloaded from this repository: https://github.com/soupday/cc_unity_tools_URP/releases/ the CC/iC Unity Tools 1.6.3 URP17, in .zip. I have unzipped it and from the Package Manager I have installed it from the disk, the “Package.json." Here 236 errors already appear in the Unity Console. I have copied all the files that have been generated from CC4 in the export of the character to a folder in Unity. I went to the Reallusion menu and clicked on Import Characters But when creating the materials by clicking on Build Materials, the textures or materials look wrong (the ones for the clothes) and the skin and. The hair looks pink. How can I solve this? Reallusion suggested that I check here to solve the problem. Thank you very much in advance.

Hello i downloaded the software before two days as a trial and trying to see if it looks ok on unity. but i aam unaible to import it correclty. the materias look weird. i tried to export for unity but no json is exported so when i am trying the importer is not find the character. Do you have a solution?

Suggest you check your Unity Editor log to see if there's any leads on what's going on. I've had some crash issues on one of my devices on recent builds in both the 2022 and 6 streams when DX12 is enabled. None of my crashes were related to the CC/iC importer though.

I seem to be hitting a wall trying to import a CC4 character so I thought I would see if anyone else is having trouble. Using CC/IC Importer HDRP 1.6.3 and have tried with Unity 6 and also Unity 2022.3. When I process the character, even with default settings, it keeps hanging at the end waiting for a DLL. Then it crashes Unity. I've tried to narrow it down but so far I do not understand what is causing this. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Well I've just finished a game jam using exports from CC. Sadly I had to ditch all the shaders for it - the URP skin shaders weren't compatable in webgl, but easily replaced with standard shaders and real toon ones. Which kinda upsets me a lot because CC is hands down the best shaders for unity out there and has been for a long time. The ability to downgrade to regular shaders was also very useful. 
CC has great skeletons, and is compatible with salsa one click for lip sync, so setting that up was a breeze.
I imported some objects and a character from Daz. The toon rendering allowed me to strip textures to 64x64, with some faces at 256x256. 

Some major issues are:
Is not being able to select morphs exported or export body morphs. If we could do that then CC would be the premiere character system for unity, rather they've trying to protect themselves I think - A full blown character creator inside unity that you could use like meta humans would be super helpful.
^ this leads to really large fbx - 25 meg just for a fbx character, without including textures! My game was 118meg and 2 chars took up 50meg plus of that, which is a bad, bad thing for web games. I think you can strip morphs in blender somehow. Not a big issues when porting to PC though
