Where did that come from? My release files and source downloads should all be called cc_blender_tools-1_X_X.zip

Blender doesn't like the dots in the file name you see (it thinks they mean python modules), so the version numbers must be separated by underscores.

or just shorten it to: cc_blender_tools.zip

Version 1.5.6:
Github: Github Project Page - Releases
Online Documentation: Documentation
CC3 Plugin:
CC3 Plugin Releases
CC4 Plugin: CC4 Plugin Releases

Changelog:

1.5.6
  • Relative wrinkle strengths for individual wrinkle maps implemented.
  • Overall wrinkle strength and curve power slider added the head material parameters.
  • Competing wrinkle maps now use additive blending to solve overlap.
  • Brow correction added for brow raise + brow compress wrinkles.
  • Generated images not yet saved are auto-saved for export (so they get included).
  • Add custom bone function for hair rigging.

This should be the last update for the wrinkle map system and leaves it feature complete, using all the features such as the flow maps, brow correction, individual strengths. It should render very close to the results in CC4, and there's an overall strength and curve slider in the Head material parameters to tweak it further.

Hithis is a cc3 addon from cc3 and blenderit ok but i want to know how i can retarget and bake more animation because when i retarget and bake one animation the new one delete the last one animation track !!is it not accept more than one animation /? thank u

It doesn't delete it. It bakes a new action and puts that on the armature. The old baked action is still there.

Version 1.5.7:
Github: Github Project Page - Releases
Online Documentation: Documentation
CC3 Plugin:
CC3 Plugin Releases
CC4 Plugin: CC4 Plugin Releases

Changelog:
1.5.7
  • Hair bone de-duplication.
  • Bones from grease pencil lines or hair card generation now replaces (matching) existing bones.
  • Grease Pencil lines generated only from active grease pencil layer, allowing for better organization.
  • Added some color space fall-backs when using different color space configurations.

Hair spring rig generation from hair cards. For the Blender to Unity pipeline but can also create spring bone accessories for CC4.
Currently the hair mesh must be made of clean hair cards, i.e. each hair strip must be a UV island grid with clean straight(ish) lines along the UV direction. I hope to expand it to cope with less clean meshes but for now this is it's limitation.

Hello, I tried the latest version 1.57, importing a CC4 character via iClone8 with a test animation to see how the wrinkles look in Blender.  It came out fairly well, but I noticed that the facial hair, including the eyebrows seemed to detach and clip into the head mesh, even when I didn't merge all the facial hair into one mesh.  Not sure what I'm missing.  I used the Hair and Beard builder addon built into CC4 to create the hair.

First attempt (combined facial hair option selected):

Second attempt (less clipping, but still there slightly)

Some problems there.
  • The merge beard and brow: Definitely does not export the animation data for the merged object.
  • Some of the facial hair objects in the Beard and brows pack have alignment problems with certain base characters and need to be corrected.

But both problems are fixable.

It worked.  I employed the second fix in the video you posted above.  Reapplying the hair elements in the modify window worked as you suggested.  Odd that it needs to do that.  In any case, I redid the export and compared it with the CC4 native export with Blender Eevee and Omniverse, both using the respective plug-ins.  Turned out better than I expected.

Hello i am having a problem with the Blender Auto Setup plugin when importing Character that have wrinkle maps.  The wrinkle maps show up white as shown in the image below.  I have probably tried 10 or more times importing different characters and they all have the same problem.  Anyone have any ideas how to fix this problem.  I have tried using the latest version of the plugin as well as older versions.  Nothing seems to fix the issue.

Missing textures by the look of it.

Can you check that the textures for the wrinkle maps are there, they should be in textures\<Character Name>\<Character Name>\CC_Base_Body\Std_Skin_Head\

and you're looking for:
  • Std_Skin_Head_Wrinkle_Diffuse1.png
  • Std_Skin_Head_Wrinkle_Diffuse2.png
  • Std_Skin_Head_Wrinkle_Diffuse3.png
  • Std_Skin_Head_Wrinkle_Normal1.png
  • Std_Skin_Head_Wrinkle_Normal2.png
  • Std_Skin_Head_Wrinkle_Normal3.png
  • Std_Skin_Head_Wrinkle_Roughness1.png
  • Std_Skin_Head_Wrinkle_Roughness2.png
  • Std_Skin_Head_Wrinkle_Roughness3.png
Also can you check the .json data (or post it here) that it lists these textures in the data. (Just search for "Wrinkle", it should have them all listed under that.)

You are correct.  It is missing the files.  Not sure why it is not bringing the files when loaded.  On my laptop the plugin works fine.  This problem is happening on my desktop which is my primary workstation.  Anywy to fix it to where the files loads as it is supposed to?  I have attached the .json file as well.
