Hi can you please tell me what's the difference between 3dxchange and character creator??? Because I think we can also create in 3dxchange but I'm not sure.

3DXchange doesn't create characters but instead allows you to bring in characters, props and animations from 3rd party sources and convert them into iClone formats.

Character Creator 3 Pipeline on the other hand is a full featured character creator, allowing unlimited characters to be created. Plus it can convert Daz 3D or Hivewire characters into CC3 characters for use in iClone or other 3D software and game engines. :)

Sadly Character Creator 3 can't be used with iClone 6. You will need iClone 7.

I have CTA 4. Is there any benefit in owning related products, such as CT8, and if so, do they integrate with CTA4?

Both Cartoon Animator 4 and CrazyTalk 8 are entirely standalone products. You can't share characters between them as they use different file formats.

which of the two is more advance Animator pro or Pipeline?

But what about Cartoon Animator 4? does that have the functionality of CrazyTalk 8 as part of it? 

Do I need to buy both products or just Cartoon Animator?  

I need to animate some still photographs (faces), and I also need to do regular animations (characters walking, typing etc.).

Cartoon Animator 4 can create 2D Heads from photos the same way as you do in CrazyTalk 8. However you can't create 3D Heads in CTA4 as you can in CT8.
