Hi Victor, Thank you very much for the update. (CC4/IC8) I can't use the two (installers), I get a warning from Avast. So I used the manual installation. Everything went well, I'm excited about IC8 Data Link, I know it's still in Beta, This is all so cool.. ππππ Greetings Robert

Hello. I DL'd and put in the cc blender tools for blender 4.01 yesterday from here, I get an error at import character,import animations. I thought it might be a conflict with other addons, so I installed only cc blender tools on vanilla blender. and the same thing happened. I would be very happy if you could address this in the next version.

You're missing the "Import-Export: FBX Format" add-on, it should be on by default but yours is missing or not enabled.

Dear Victor. Thank you for your quick reply.
I didn't think it was possible, so I checked and found that the fbximporter in addon was turned off... I tried again, and import, rigify, and animation retarget work fine. Thank you very much! regards.

Victor, this update with the data live link looks awesome, can't wait to test it out, thank you for your work! I have a (possibly noob) question regarding the previous version. I use it in Blender 3.6 right now and I can't find a way to turn off the spring effect. Is there a way to turn it off or modify the attributes of it like in iClone?

I mean this on the spine from iClone, it looks like it's automatically on the character in blender but I can't find it as a spring bone there.

Live link is so cool. I was just playing around with the Camilla cc4 cloth sim character. sent it to iclone, then live linked it to blender. I see that if I select physx it doesn't seem to send that baked animation to blender but the bullet engine bake does. Why would this be? is physx exports overall not a thing in iclone?

I haven't done anything with the physics for the data link so it's interesting that there's no actual bone animation with baked physX. Is baked physX just a pure mesh stream even in iClone? If so the only way to get that into Blender is via an Alembic export/import. That will take some untangling.
