Thanks again Victor - those fixes worked. For benefit of others - I did not delete the sample scene files which meant the correct diffusion profiles were available to be automatically assigned when importing - this fixed the green character issue. To fix the eyes I created a new volume within the scene, then added an override for screen space refraction (you add overides from within the volume inspector).

- Added custom diffusion profiles.
v 0.1.5- Reworked and cleaned up Teeth and Tongue shaders & bake shaders.
- Fix to editor code .asmdef preventing build for non editor platforms.
v 0.1.4- Reworked eye occlusion calculations.
- Fix to .asmdef in package editor code that prevent building the project for non-editor platforms.
- Added custom diffusion profiles for the subsurface scattering, so it no longer relies on the diffusion profiles from the HDRP sample demo, turning characters green when they weren't installed.

Victor, i am having memory related problems with the tool in my project using unity 2020lts. I noticed unity hanging frequently on menu updates untill crashing with this message: 73% of original size (was 691x494) - Click to enlarge I had the cc3 import tool docked all the time, maybe that's related. I remember the first time opening the window causing a very long loading (and crashing in a couple of occasions) I was testing a duplicate project in 2021.2 and had the same kind of problems. Unity is running on a 16gb ram system.

Ok, I've gone through the importer code and made some changes to reduce memory use. Probably the biggest memory use came from the import window holding onto all the character object references. I've stopped it doing that and it only keeps one reference to currently active character in the window. I changed some of the asset searches to be more specific and in some cases got rid of unnecessary searches when the asset file could be determined directly by name. Finally, I made it so that the right-click menu (for the character FBX file) "CC3 / Import Character" will show only that character in the tool window. So if you have lots of characters and the import window takes a long time to load, you can use the right click menu just to get to that one character a lot faster. Hopefully some of these will fix your memory problems. https://github.com/soupday/cc3_unity_tools_HDRP/releasesv 0.1.7- Reduced memory use for asset searches and character discovery.
- Prevented Import Tool window from holding on to character object references and hogging all the memory.
- Right Click menu "Import Character" now opens Import Tool window *only* for that character.
- Added refresh button on Import Tool window to rebuild the character list for when characters are added or removed.

Do the pupils dilate base on light with your shaders? When I first used this I could have sworn I noticed that happening but now I can't reproduce it. Maybe my mind was playing tricks on me when I first installed this.
Oh also, what are the advantages/disadvantages of using the baked version. I know I can apply tesselation to the baked one.

This is the second (and completely unrelated to eachother) asset I've seen in the last 24 hours reporting a similar out of memory error. @vlastan what version of Unity are you using exactly (the detailed version number like 2021.1.17.f1)?
Edit: Well it would be a 2020.3.nnfn number in your case I guess since you said 2020lts, but still curious as to which one and when you updated to it as lts still gets intermittent release updates.

@tantrum 2021.2.0b7 and 2020.3.16f1 Seems that 0.17 solved the issue though
