I am curious and interested about this! So as we know the export from CC3for blender, the material(s) only includes only the normal map and base (diffuse) so we have to setup a Roughness, SSS node(s) for each of the material slots. In addition to the above, I had to set up the normal map node to invert the normal map (see attached image (below)) Does this addon include auto setup of the SSS and Roughness nodes? 75% of original size (was 669x19) - Click to enlarge

habban (6/23/2021) I tryed to import a character to blender with this and copied all shader settings from the body to my clothing object to try replicate digital human shader perfectly onto my cloth object. Is this possible somehow? When i exported back to CC3 my whole character was white and all materials missing. I tryed mimic the Digital Human shader with SSS with almost perfect results, i'm looking for perfect results.
Import a character to blender seems to work like a charm. Is there any specific way you should do it when exporting changes out from blender back to CC3 again? If possible. I have a very limited experience and understanding of how all these softwares and such works.
What is it that you are trying to accomplish? If you want to import back into CC for some reason then you would not bother with the shaders because the perfect shader is already in CC. The only reason to use Blender in this case is if you want to change the shape of the character in some fashion.

Okay, so right out of the box, this addon works and it works really well.
Is there a way to tip the creator of this addon, I want to buy them dinner and a drink!

Is this possible somehow? What are you trying to achieve by doing that? The Digital Human Skin Shader only really does two things beyond the standard PBR, the first is Subsurface scattering, the second is Micro-normals. Micro-normals need a detail micro-normal map and possibly a detail mask map too, without them nothing happens. Subsurface scattering can be done without any extra maps. All you really need to do for that is connect the 'Base Color' (Or whatever is plugged into the Base Color slot on the Principled BSDF shader) into the 'Subsurface Color' and set the Subsurface value to something small around 0.05 to 0.1. You could also plug in a RGB node into the 'Subsurface Radius' to control the scattering color distribution. Like this: 75% of original size (was 669x19) - Click to enlarge Import a character to blender seems to work like a charm. Is there any specific way you should do it when exporting changes out from blender back to CC3 again? If possible. Importing characters back from Blender doesn't bring any of the materials with it. You alter characters primarily by creating character morphs and using them to modify the characters. Clothing you can import separately as accessories and convert them into clothing in CC3. I made a not very good video on making character morphs a while a go:

I'm just trying to figure out a way to create my CC3 characters animation ready with genital support. Seems almost impossible. At least with the limitation of my current experience!
Thanks for the information and making stuffs clear to me btw! :)

Not sure if you're working on some sort of erotic animations or if it's for a game, but from what I've seen for animations you would rather do that sort of modifications directly in blender. I'm working on a side project involving erotic art and cannot find a reliable way to do this kind of content on iclone, at least not yet, not sure if it will be an option in the future the same way you have genitalia support in DAZ but it would be very welcome. So long I'll keep working with Blender and other tools for that project and use iClone for my regular projects. I think this video can show you a little bit about how modifications of CC3 characters can be done in external software and then brought back to CC3/iClone: In that case it's Zbrush, because the integration with CC3 is much easier than Blender, but I think it should be possible with Blender too Edit: I just found a video on how to add animatable body parts to CC3 characters using blender. In this case I would use Victor's Blender Auto Setup Tool at the end in case you want to render your animations within Blender

I will take a look at the tail video and see if it is possible to do something with that. I'm not 100% sure yet if i'm going to work on a game or just animations. But i'm interested in creating some sort of unique erotic adult project perhaps. The main thing i'm trying to accomplish first is to get CC3 characters animatable with genital support before i can establish what kind of project it will be :) Especially since i've bought a lot of features for CC3/iclone and like it in general, compared to DAZ.

Nice, I am also working on a similar idea, want to do something unique taking different sources of inspiration and also adding my own ideas into it. I did some research a while ago and found a very interesting discord server where people work on erotic art, most of them work with blender or maya though, but I want to make use of iclone too because it saves me a lot of time and it's fun to work with. I'm most likely going tocreate the base characters with CC3 and then export them to Blender for modifications and Unreal Engine for final animations. I think the workflow Reallusion showed with the Korean Sytle dancing girl is a very interesting one to achieve such results, but in that case they're using paid software for clothes (Marvelous Designer) and sculpting details (Zbrush), which I will try to do in Blender.
