CC3.4 smart hair doesn't seem to export well using merged materials for unity 3d, base hair / scalp and the eyebrows each had issues: Smart hair merged materials builds wrong diffuse map - FeedBack Tracker (reallusion.com)Smart hair merged materials base hair and scalp combined - FeedBack Tracker (reallusion.com)Also tried a polygon reduction which really seems to destroy the hair system.

guys follow the steps with the hotfix file
go to smart gallery , cc3 embed hair . right click, update
and they will install
ti worked for me

Maybe post an update instead of asking us to hunt down some hotfix file? is there a link? I have a whole application from Reallusion dedicated to updating the software but I'm supposed to go and find something obscure in a forum to patch their software? This isn't how a company that want's me to buy a small fortune in assets should behave.

I installed the hotfix, but have still problems accessing the new hair content from the Content Manager (as instructed in the manual). Basically, the connection between Smart Gallery and Content Manager is broken again. I can select the new hair in Smart Gallery, but when I select Show in Content Manager, CC is stuck. We had the same problems just after the introduction of SM...:crying: Added: I seem to remember that that had to do with the content being installed under the Shared Template folder instead of the regular CC Template folder.

Honestly I hate SmartAss Gallery so much I would prefer an option to just not install it (I don't have it as a tab anywhere). To me the only point to it is for RL to try and sell things. It certainly doesn't help me manage my content in any way shape or form.
