Do you happen to know what the problem is with my exporting Daz characters? I'm still unable to export any of my characters with their skin textures, also when I try to pose them they end up looking disfigured.

StrangeMotions90 (9/28/2018) I was eventually able to update iC7, 3DX7 and Curve editor as well as download the resource packs but I'm still having the same issue with exporting a character with its skin texture materials. The whole reason for me buying CC3 was for the export feature and I can't get it to work at all, it's seriously frying my brain. I'm following all the tutorials RL has uploaded exactly as they show but I never end up with the right results, I know this is the release version but CC3 is really glitchy, it's soo bad. With how many problems I've come across personally as well as other creators I know, it doesn't look like anyone having a good time with this.
Do you have "Embed Textures" checked on the Daz Studio export page. This should ensure that the Diffuse textures are correctly assigned when you use Transformer. Do also ensure you are using FBX 2012 Binary in the Output Options.

Hi Peter, pls could you reconfirm what FBX export option should be used at DAZ (FBX 2012 or FBX2011). I'm asking, since on the tutorial video about importing Daz Characters ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uuhCCgJQHYk&t=515s) posted today at RL Youtube channel, the option used was FBX2011. And you informed FBX2012 on the above post Bellow is a print screen from the video
Thanks a lot for all you support.

I eventually found CC3 pipeline amongst a list of downloads on my account.
But when CC3 starts up I first get a box saying, 'unsaved project data found' and the chance to replace a character creator restore file that exists in my documents [haven't tried that as it already exists]. Then when the program starts a message says 'get new serial number error no internet' and it closes itself. I've registered it. I have internet.
I tried looking for updates on the hub but all my products are up to date.
What now?
*edit* I tried replacing the restore file as the box suggests. Now CC3 opens for a few seconds but looks weird, and disappears without an error message.
Should I try uninstalling and reinstalling CC3?
*edit* and now it has randomly started working! As you were. [ ;

As you can see FBX2012 Binary is the one you should use. It doesn't mean 2011 won't work but we strongly recommend FBX 2012 Binary. 75% of original size (was 674x19) - Click to enlarge

Yes I have embed textures checked and I have also followed the tutorial shown on the RL YouTube channel, I have tried it with both FBX 2012 Binary and 2011 and still end up with the same results. 75% of original size (was 674x19) - Click to enlarge

After you import your avatar to CC3 via "Transformer" you get an Asset Import Status report screen. Make sure the Bake Body Texture option in the top left hand corner is checked before you press OK to proceed. If you don`t, you get the CC texture on your avatar by default. Geoff.
