I don't think there will be a problem.
Even in this beta release of CC2, you can pick between "Classic" and "PBR" shaders, and you can do that on a per-object basis. And PBR does not have to mean shiny metal. Turn down the metallic channel, and it's not metal. There will be a bit of a learning curve, but I have a feeling you'll be happy with iC7.

I like the more "realism" in water/trees and the more cartoony on characters/objects. I had big ideas which it seemed to me that would be possible in the new iclone with some of what I was seeing. Its probably just everyone excited about the new stuff but if i can mix/match or go completely one way or another then this is very good! The advancements in realtime makes it possible for me to do things that I just could not really do before as a retired one man band. I was just kinda waiting for it to happen cause I knew it would with all the game engine advancments it was only a matter of time.

To get said car into CC2 from iClone 6:
Add CC 1.5 character into iC6. Add car to scene. Attach car to character. This makes the car an accessory. Save the character to your content library. Open CC2. Drag the character from your iC6 content library into the scene window of CC2.
You can also drag the character in from an Explorer window (or desktop). And lastly, you can use the "File/Open" in CC2 to open any CC character file from its location.

Currently, you will have to save the avatar with prop and then import it in CC2. There is no direct path yet (as this is not the release version). EDIT: I just noticed Rampa gave more extensive instructions...:blush:

Thank you Urbanlamb. Like you I don't want realistic texture. Just want coherent things. Animation, facial, behavior lighting but not realistic. There's a difference. My cyclope clown is definitly not realistic but coherent and that's exactly what I need. For toon shader I don't know the futur but may with the open architecture some one will write very cool shader output. I'm very confident with this release :)

PBR Substance Material on Character Creator Version 2. Stone, Wall , Road and Landscpace looks good.
