I am new to 3D modeling and game design. I want to build a very small and basic game just to get my hands dirty with 3D Games. I have almost no experiencing working with tools like Blender or ZBrush and would ideally like to avoid that for this particular game as this is just more of a 'proof of concept, I can do it' sort of an ordeal. I have worked with 3D studio's such as DAZ3d and Poser for character manipulations, but they never left those platforms, and that brings me to my next concern. It looks like there isn't anywhere near as much asset content available for CC4 as there are for DAZ and Poser, which worries me because if I wanted to do something that isn't included as an available asset, it 'looks' like I would need to build it in Blender or ZBrush, which I'm not ready to do yet.

My basic goal is to:
--Create a character
--Morph the character to my liking
--Clothe the character to my liking
--Animate the character to my liking in CC4
--Use the character in a Game Engine such as Unity and summon certain animations I have created based on certain circumstances and conditions.
--Perhaps look into animating the same character in Unity and determine which place is better to animate.

My questions are:

How available is content for CC4, are there any other alternate resources or sites to obtain characters, clothing, hair, creatures, ect.. or do I need to be prepared to rig these items myself?
Have you imported objects such as clothes or creatures from other models available online?
Have you ever had to deal with licensing for any models or creations you have used?

Here is also another question.. ..would you recommend my approach of animating the character in CC4 vs Unity?
