Auroratrek (10/21/2021) I really enjoyed this piece--well done! Great animation, character design, and (al)most importantly, lighting! Where can we see more of your animation work? Thanks and I am glad you liked it. You can see most of my work over at artstation. It is not all animation but I am sure there will be more animation in the future.

mastajappa (10/15/2021) Wow, just wow! Super stoked to win the second place in the contest! Thank you Reallusion for the software and for the amazing opportunity. It was an honor to lose from the number one because I totally understand why that one was picked for first price. Funny that in the jury report it says it was rendered in Cinema4D because it is rendered in iClone itself. You can really push it to get nice frames out of there. Once again I am humbled and it really feels like a boost to create more animations with this tool in the pipeline.Funny that in the jury report it says it was rendered in Cinema4D because it is rendered in iClone itself. >>Hi Jasper, congrats and thank you for sharing the feedback with us, and I think it is because Cinema4D was selected as your tool list that made the jury thought that you are rendered in C4D. Knowing it's iClone render is awesome! And we certainly hope this contest will motivate not only you but also the whole community to create more! Thank you so much. I am currently working with Marmoset as a final render and things look sweet in that area. Will post some results soon.

gery.hristova (10/15/2021) Congratulations Mastajappa!! Absolutely stunning, beautiful work!! I also used Iclone 7 for my final render, but your skills are far greater than mine!! I love the balance between the "cartoony", more saturated colours and realism! If it's alright to ask, did you use any LUTs? (just discovered them in Iclone X) Or did you achieve such nice colors through lighting? Congrats again!!
No I did not use any LUTs on this piece. I have played around with those but it wasn't really needed in this case. I used a custom HDR on low brightness. And I setup 2 extra lights for the Key lighting (to separate Jessica from the background) and the G.I. offcourse. The toony look, next to the re-modeling off course, comes from the shader setup which is based on the Digital Human Skin shader I only changed the ones below.
