Hi Guys,
I've decided to join in the fun and create something for the contest. Roger Rabbit is one of my favorite movies and this film holds up even today and I wanted to create a bit of the nightclub scene. It is still very rough and in the early stages but it's getting there. The hair is a place holder and I need to refine the model and do the tedious weight-painting on the dress.

Thanks  . It is still very rough. I will need to first have the weight painting fixed. When I use auto hide I run in export issues in other software and the mesh gets triangulated.

Previously I altered the 05_Wavy Bob Hair. But it proved hard to get it right and the mesh is triangulated which made it even more difficult to adjust. 
Hair is quite difficult but I went back into ZBrush and finally came up with a nice hairdo which is in line with Jessica's original design.

Here are some iteration of the animation and lip synch. Will add some camera editing as well but for the sake of the lip-synch I did it like this for now.

I noticed that it is hard work with accu lips on mixed down audio with a lot of noise in it and because it is singing I had to time a lot by hand.

Wow, just wow! Super stoked to win the second place in the contest! Thank you Reallusion for the software and for the amazing opportunity. It was an honor to lose from the number one because I totally understand why that one was picked for first price. Funny that in the jury report it says it was rendered in Cinema4D because it is rendered in iClone itself. You can really push it to get nice frames out of there. Once again I am humbled and it really feels like a boost to create more animations with this tool in the pipeline.

Congratulations Mastajappa!! Absolutely stunning, beautiful work!! I also used Iclone 7 for my final render, but your skills are far greater than mine!! I love the balance between the "cartoony", more saturated colours and realism! If it's alright to ask, did you use any LUTs? (just discovered them in Iclone X) Or did you achieve such nice colors through lighting?

No I did not use any LUTs on this piece. I have played around with those but it wasn't really needed in this case. I used a custom HDR on low brightness.
And I setup 2 extra lights for the Key lighting (to separate Jessica from the background) and the G.I. offcourse.
The toony look, next to the re-modeling off course, comes from the shader setup which is based on the Digital Human Skin shader I only changed the ones below.

Thank you so much. I am currently working with Marmoset as a final render and things look sweet in that area. Will post some results soon.
