Yeah, if there's one thing we learn from losing data, it's to backup our data. However, I don't even trust cloud data (with good reason -- do some research and you'll see why). So while I think it's a good idea for it to be ONE of the places you store things, it should never be the only place, at least not for mission critical stuff. I like having at least three physical copies, at least one of which isn't connected to anything (power or otherwise). And then a cloud place. Or two (remember, even the big ones have had issues and, more importantly, have gone away). Luckily storage sizes have increased nearly everywhere, for cheap, and there's no good reason not to be backed up securely for work you don't want to have to duplicate.

If you haven't already, definitely setup an auto-backup system. I mine set to backup to both a cloud backup and a second physical hard drive. I have it set to backup automatically daily or weekly. I basically backup my .iProject files, since that's most important.

I never completed this project. I have since lost my All in one computer and am on a new AMD computer. I know nothing about AMD processors so I am learning that also. I plan to upgrade this computer to accept iclone7 this next week. As for my project, I have lost everything I had with it. I got stuck making the house for Ruth and Naomi. I just never could figure out how to make the room look like more than a square. I wanted to put a stairway in the back and make it look like a living room/dining room combination. I don't know if I will try to get it going again with iclone7 or not right now. All of the resources from that one are gone and it would be a start again project. Ken

I have been sidetracked with a circumcision of my 10 year old Son and the vacation has been delayed for now. I did manage to think a bit more about how I wanted to present things as there is really no deadline except I want to finish it this year. The new Displacement Power tools may have given me the ability to make Bethlehem and some of the street scenes with what I have now. I will need to learn more about how to dress models so I can present Characters that do not look like they came out of the same mold. The fields and background noise of workers while Ruth and Boaz are talking needs to be found yet. I will need some background noise for the streets of Bethlehem for a scene or two. Most of what I am going to try to add are small things that I am sure I can find in some of the programs I have in my list. It seems the vacation will be sometime in May. Ken:)

Time to regroup. I cam back to iClone6 this morning after going through some other programs and saw what I have finished. I had some ideas before because I was not really happy what what I had. This morning I noticed Ruth and Orpah were floating in some of the scenes. The expressions on the faces do not change, And when they speak only the mouth moves on them. I need to find a way to change that. I also have a square room for their house with two windows on each side and curtains. I know there must be better than that or that I can make something better than that. It looks like time to re-evaluate what I have and either repair or replace the ones that are not good. We are not going right now for awhile so I am going to get back on this project again and make it better. I know that there is a danger that I may keep redoing it until I eventually don't finish but I am trying to do what I can and be happy with something far short of perfection. I do want it to be a better quality than what I have right now. Ken:)

I think I have enough downloaded to the All In One computer to go on vacation for awhile. I downloaded iClone5 ( It is the only one i can get to work right) and all the props that I have into it along with Magix Movie edit Pro 2015 Plus. I am putting the Titler in now. I think that if I complete some scenes with iClone5 and render them as MP4 I can use them along with the other ones that were made with iClone6 on the other computer in Magix. It doesn't care where the scenes came from as long as they are MP4. Hopefully we will be on our way in the next day or so and I can get some exercise in the pool and riding the bikes. I know i will be here on April 6 and probably for a few days after April 15 ( the new date for Ray). I am not sure if we will have a good Internet connection there or if i will have to use a WiFi from the office to send texts. Ken:)

Clouds coming on. I was stopped today waiting for a call to take my son, Ray, to be circumcised. He is 10. The doctor finally called and said he will be ready to do it tomorrow. guess that will take care of tomorrow too. Thursday we are looking to go to Immigrations to get my resident card. This has taken over a month. should take a few days. Ray is on summer vacation now so after he heals up we will be going to the Condo for a lengthy vacation. We go for a week or two and then come back home for a week or so. It depends on the mood of things through now and June. there is no computer with iClone on it there. I usually take my netbook and get Internet there from their WiFi network. I can text but not work on things. I am going to try to get in as much as I can before I leave. I think I can get several scenes finished before I leave and then there won't be that much more left to do. I am still planning to finish before Christmas on this undertaking. Ken:)

March 15. I have a scene. I went to find the morphed voice of Naomi to make the scene and found that all of the morphed voices of many of the people were lost in the failed computer awhile back. I did still have the unmorphed ones though. To make them morphed I had to download Morphvox Pro again and add the voices. I then morphed Naomi for that scene and made it. I did manage to get a scene finished today. I am looking forward to this next week. I am reduced to sleeping on the floor until my floor upstairs is finished. We had termites up there. the worker comes on weekends unless something happens and he gets a day off. Last night really didn't go well. I am sleeping with a 10 year old next to me and he rolls all night long. I also need to call immigrations to see if my resident card is ready yet. they said to call tomorrow. I may be going there to get it. I am going to try to finish at least one scene a day if possible. There are about 31 of them. Some will be more difficult. At least I am moving in the right direction now as long as the computers hold out. Ken:)

Most of the props will be simple things that I can find on 3dWarehouse. I had them before with iClone5. Many of the scenes are either outdoor or closeups in a room. There will be a few outside near the town gate and some in the fields but other than that everything is pretty simple. Just need to get things organized. I found that the Threshing floor is just a big flat land where they beat the barley. I am going to try to be creative and let the sounds and some of what is shown trick your mind into thinking there is more there. No sense in letting the audience go to sleep. The movies do it all the time. Ken:) thanks for the offer though. I may still take you up on it later. Much of what I am looking for is not in pictures (like the city of Bethlehem back then. It was a very small town at that time).
