I've recently been given the green light to do this by the Admin. I'm pretty excited about it.
I've figured out a way to get perfect hand placement in Unreal Engine 5 using the new Control Rig to modify and Create Animations.
I've set it up in such a way that the Unreal Engine IK Bones will be placed properly...but the IK_Hand_Gun bone will need to be placed and positioned manually.
It will however follow the right hand and will have the option to switch hands using a Boolean variable called SwitchHand.
There is currently one issue with Virtual Bones that is slightly annoying, but I will explain how to fix it while we wait for a fix to be released in a future UE5 Update.

I have finished working out the hovering foot bug, and the issue with Root Motion animations.
After I polish some things up and make sure everything is working right, I'll be releasing the Unreal Engine Project. It should be pretty soon.
