I've recently been given the green light to do this by the Admin. I'm pretty excited about it. I've figured out a way to get perfect hand placement in Unreal Engine 5 using the new Control Rig to modify and Create Animations. I've set it up in such a way that the Unreal Engine IK Bones will be placed properly...but the IK_Hand_Gun bone will need to be placed and positioned manually. It will however follow the right hand and will have the option to switch hands using a Boolean variable called SwitchHand. There is currently one issue with Virtual Bones that is slightly annoying, but I will explain how to fix it while we wait for a fix to be released in a future UE5 Update. Below is a video I made about a week ago when I first started working on it. I will be releasing another video later today... I have finished working out the hovering foot bug, and the issue with Root Motion animations. After I polish some things up and make sure everything is working right, I'll be releasing the Unreal Engine Project. It should be pretty soon.

Update: Due to serious retargeting bugs in iClone 8 I have had to put my project on hold until Reallusion fixes the issue with incorrect Root Motion Alignment in retargeted animations

If you mean to retarget the CC character to the UE5 mannequin, you can reference the UE4 dummy's retargeting file for that.

Thanks for the info but it's not Unreal Engine messing them up...don't know why people insist it couldn't possibly be Reallusion...I have actually made video's where I show irreputable proof that Unreal Engine is exporting them correctly using Blender to prove that it's only After Retargeting the Animation Using iClone 8 or CC4 that the way root motion is handled changes drastically to the point that the Animation is virtually useless.
I ended up figuring a way to redo the animations right inside of Unreal Engine without having to worry about Reallusion software taking a crap on them.

I have officially released Version 2 of my Unreal Engine Project. Just Re-assign your character to the Neutral Char Skeleton and replace it in the Blueprint and your good to go...getting it too work with ALS is now that simple.
