Do you have a face tool installed?
If so, please try installing Character Creator again.
If the situation is still the same, please go to %Loacalappdata%/CrashDumps to see if there are any crash dumps generated and provide us to clarify the problem.

Yes, the program appeared to hang/suspend when trying to install the FaceTool plug-in.  After I ran Windows Update to make sure I had the latest drivers and security software installed, I still had the problem, CC4 wouldn't load.  Upon uninstalling then reinstalling CC4 after a clean boot, that appears to have fixed the issue, and CC4 opens up without any issue.  Thank you.

Good morning,
Since the update I also noticed this issue with my files crashing upon opening them. This never happened prior to the update. Lots of work goes into these projects for them to get stuck in a limbo. SMH I hope we can get this resolved with a update.

I had the same issue, I was able to fix this with the new driver update from Nvidia 546.33 driver update fixed this issue for me.
I hope this helps. I'm running off a RTX3070 Graphics card.

I have created a scene. When I am opening it, while loading scene, at the point 90% updating scene, it is crashing. I am not able to use or open my project. Please solve or give some suggestion.

I purchased iClone 8 and the motion director files will not download to my computer.  I have uninstalled then reinstalled iClone and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the content but the motion director files and a few update files will not download.  I have checked my connection to the internet and logged in to my reallusion account within iClone.  Is there any trick I can use to get the motion director files to download to my computer?

Hey guys I figured it out.  You have to drag and drop your library into the content manager and the files that don't sync you can drag them from your file location into iClone.

Just updated to 8.4 after having worked on 8.3 and now 8.4 no longer loads. Barely goes to splash page for 5 seconds until it closes. Working on a time sensitive project and made the mistake of updating. Any help would be appreciated. Here are my specs. Thanks in advance!

Not sure if this is just since 8.4, but on larger projects (multiple characters, lights, cameras, etc.) the thing that takes the longest, believe it or not, is RENAMING items in the Scene Manager.  This s/b just a simple text replacement.  Why does it take MORE THAN A MINUTE for each item re-named?  This occurs on many of my projects -- they just have to be fairly heavy duty.
My PC has 32GB RAM and a RTX3090, so more than enough horsepower (these projects are using less than 25% of my resources).  Anyone else seeing this problem?  Very anti-productive when you are working on a project.
