@Victor.SoupdayFirst off thank you for all the work you put in. I've ran into something interesting with cc4 export to unity every thing seemed fine to HRDP but all areas were CC4 would let light shine throw a characters skin are glowing ears nose knees hands.

The CC4 characters come with some maxed out subsurface settings which are causing artifacts in Unity. I'll need to re-work the shaders I think, but for now you can just reduce these values in the materials.

thanks for the plugin, just wondering is there anything you can do about the hair, the hair is really low poly in unity same with clothes. Where did i go wrong? Is it in export ? Low resolution normal maps in the t-shirt or more likely Unity is not smoothing the normals correctly. A lot of clothing and hair meshes in CC use split normals and Unity really doesn't deal with them very well and it causes an almost flat shaded look (common with the low poly style). I put in a different normal smoothing method in the menu: CC3 > Mesh Tools > Auto Smooth Mesh, (See documentation: in the auto smooth mesh section.) which might fix your problem. If not, you might need to fix the normals in a 3D editor. Is the hair using the hair shaders? or is it just a generic lit shader? May need to turn on transparency or change the shader to to HDRP/hair.

Thanks for the reply, it seems just with this characters clothes and hair. I tested one of the characters with reallusion store clothes and they seem to be fine and the same for the hair. I'll dable around more.

That's what the "delete hidden faces" export option is for.
You can ignore those warnings, it's from some older custom UI settings the Amplify shader editor leaves behind. Thought I had cleaned them all up.

This tool seems great but it keeps deleting all of my assets in the CC_Assets folder after I try to build a character. I was able to build two characters but then on the third, it deleted all the assets. When I tried re-importing, it's now deleting when I try to build a character that worked before.
edit: what is happening for me is basically when I import a character (dragging the folder to the CC_Assets folder), the character model appears great except the eyes are completely white. When I use the tool to build materials to try to fix the eyes it deletes everything in the CC_Assets folder. Why the hell is it doing that!?
edit #2: Okay I see the problem. I was still using the official import tool. Stopped using it and this tool seems to work amazingly. There's not even any reason to use the old tool, since it doesn't even import correctly anyway.
