In my experience. The Kinect xbox one or 360 version. They take allot of bandwidth in usb hub.
You can only connect so many usb devices into your computer until your devices loose performance
or stop working all together. If you are using a desktop. I would suggest a usb card. Preferably one
that has its own dedicated usb controllers. If your using a laptop. Thunderbolt if you have it on a intel
laptop. That is why its disconnecting. Hope this helps. I use the xbox one Kenect. Currently working
on a scene with it. Recently installed and working. Windows 10 latest. with iclone 7 latest
version. z590 ace intel motherboard.
I'm serious about the usb controllers.

I don't own the plugin but I remember when I was considering buying it and doing some research that there is a thread somewhere in the forum about the plugin no longer working - I think because of updates to Windows - and covered what you had to do to get it working again. If you haven't already seen that thread, it could be worth searching for it to see if it helps.

I have removed all Kinect software and drivers, done a registry clean, turned off my computer for a minute, reloaded the software with the camera usb disconnected. Still no joy!!!!

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask this, but it appears that iClone is the problem not the plugin!!!  I have just obtained the Xbox one kinect camera and bought the full plugin. That is working and shows my skeleton calibrating etc. BUT when I have a character in iClone (active) and the Device Console running and try to connect it tells me "Load Mocap plug-in failed" when I can see it running right next to iClone!!!!  Where have I gone wrong. I have looked through the forums and can't find a specific answer. I know it is not connected but I have recently got an iPhone for the face recognition and that works perfectly.
