4u2ges (6/1/2021) @Mike Is it possible to import your own interactive environment into Cascadeur? Like terrains, stairs and such? Animated props which would interact with the character?
Yes, you can import FBX which can include any objects AND any animation for those objects. I haven't done that much with it, though, so I'm hardly an expert (the only things I've done so far is to create animations of falling to tack onto my mocap stuff). I plan on experimenting and doing a lot more in the next few months.

jmizelle (6/1/2021) Hi Kelleytoons,
I am currently trying to export a demo 2 second animation I created in cascadeur and I was able to successfuly import the non mesh bone figure to Xchange, however the ability to apply the animation to iClone is greyed out. Is this possibly because I am using the trial version ? I am able to apply to iclone the Node with the animation. However the option to apply the animation to my selected character in iclones is what I really want. Thanks for your help !I don't know how much you know about XChange, but you need to first convert the imported bone structure to a non-standard human for it to be used as a motion in iClone. I don't have the time right now to explain all this, but there are lots of tutorials out there (I *may* even have a saved rig you could use for this but I'm on my new computer and not everything has been transferred over. In fact, to answer Mr. G I actually had to install Cascadeur because it hadn't made it over here yet). If you are really stuck after searching for those tutorials let me know again and I'll see if I can make something fairly quick about the process.

Not having a mocap suit and being a keyframer always looking for already-made motions, I would recommend to have a look at "Ragdoll behaviour" package on RL market - it contains 54 motions, I bought it last year, watch its YouTube demo to see if something suitable for your project(s) https://marketplace.reallusion.com/ragdoll-behaviour
