In college (University of Utrecht) I learned Pascal programming on the amazing Osborne:

Notice the screen size. My eyes were better then...:blink: This ran CPM 2.2, so pre-DOS.

@Animagic, that is soooo cool. I've never seen one of those! With four disks! I would have been so jealous! I wish I still had my Kaypro, not that I would use it, although I hear George RR Martin writes on an old DOS machine with floppy disks, using Wordstar, which might explain why he's so slow to finish the series.
