wires (5/26/2016) I would also really like to know just who came up with the glorious idea of wasting users' time by forcing them to constantly load clips under 30 secs in a video player!!!! :alien::w00t: A first term AE could have edited the stuff into a meaningful length using Windows Media player. :Whistling:I use VLC Media Player to play videoclips and there you can create a playlist to see all parts without a break. You can jump through the playlist and save it for later use.

wires (5/26/2016) I can confirm the duplicate videos in F104.

I will pass your comments onto MakingMovies. I am not trying to duck the issue here other than to state that although I designed and recorded all the material the actual editorial, by that I mean the editing and titles cards etc, was handled by MakingMovies which was the arrangement due not only to the volume of work involved but also the fact that they were funding the creation of the course. We had quite a few discussions about length of videos as if you look at the likes of Lynda.com they general do not have any video shorter than about a one minute, though there are a few. Also the length was an issue too with their videos being anywhere from a few minutes to 15-20 minutes in length. Very seldom it seems that a recording of more than 20 minutes was considered a good thing. When I was on a roll mentally some of my recordings ran to an hour of more. With those it was felt we should go through the recordings and find natural break points and chop them into shorter segments. I fully take on board your comments about the really short videos and will pass on your comments. Also Reallusion wanted me to do a lot of to camera presentations which as you might be aware most trainers tend not to do so some of those are also short and sweet as to do those I need to use a tele-prompt. So very time consuming and they needed to be kept short to avoid errors and reduce the amount of time it take to set your room up with lighting/camera etc. Thank you for you comments I will take them on board and also pass them on to MakinMovies.

Hi everyone. I have just received notification from my contacts at Reallusion that the F104 video delivery has been fixed and re-uploaded to user accounts. That should mean that you can now re-download the video content from you account if you wish and hopefully this time around it will be correct.
Again sorry about this and please let me know if it it either working OK or indeed not fixed if it turns out that remains the case?

Hi Alan, I can confirm that the 104 series videos have been corrected in the downloads, but you have to delete the video folder first or it will only replace the correct files. :)I like the format myself, I used SMPlayer to make playlists of the chapters once I saw how they were separate small videos, no big deal. What I like about SMPlayer is that it remembers where I left off even if in the middle of a video. I personally think these type of training videos are long over due and wish something like this was available when I first jumped into iClone 5, I have a bad habit of only learning what I need to know to do a certain thing, which has left a lot of gaps in what I need to know now, so these courses will definitely help me to get on track and speed up my work flow. Good Job Alan! :)

I can also confirm that the folder "IC Camera Work" mentioned in the video F103-03-06 is not present in the Custom>Props folder, and can also not be found anywhere in the unzipped F103 files. :Whistling:

I just bought and downloaded, so I haven't had a chance to check. It's seems though that somewhere along the line something went wrong with the QA.

Hi Animagic,
Sorry about the issues. I did actually refer earlier in the thread to this, page three I believe, where I commented on the fact that we had asked to test the public installers before the course was released. However no one got back to me on this and the next thing I knew the course was out in the wild.
This is one of the reasons I am spending my time here on the forum trying to help people rather than leave everyone listening to static. Also I very much hope the course is useful to people and and if stuff needs fixing then I wish to deal with it and get it sorted with Reallusion so that in the future this does not happen again.
At the end of the day if the course does not sell well which will not be helped by these issues then we may not get to do another more advanced one.
Thank you for your comments.
