I had noticed this in 6.3, but in 6.4 my rendered DOF now matches that in the Preview Window, so I'd say that it's fixed.

As soon as I am done with the current project (which contains 70 characters from Monster Workshop package...so I was closely following the crash issue for projects with multiple characters) and as soon as RL releases the official patched update, I might "dare" to jump to 6.4 (after a full system restore, including the data partitions ;) ).

Well, i hope RL will find why this happens and fix it, because changing tabs eveytime we load something is not a viable solution.

That's good to know dvande, I've been fighting with windows10 since it installed and am facing a clean install if it doesn't clear up soon.  I had disabled automatic updates too but after allowing some security updates through windows changed all my settings back to default and I didn't catch it before it restarted my machine while I was working on some important things.  If upcoming Reallusion upgrades are confirmed to work on windows7 I might just buy it and go back to it.

Last days I lost a lot of free diskspace  on my computer. (OS=Windows10)
I saw that every time after a crash of iClone the program saves DMP-files in the (hidden) folder Windows/Users/Username/App.Data/Local/Temp/Reallusion.
It is now over 13 Gb!!!

  

Two questions:
1. What are DMP-files (maybe a kind of dump files?)
2. Can I remove these files without problems?

Yes, this is right, but not what I speak against

than just select for e.g. a character, prop or animotion via double click and what you realize? ... exact .... the rootmanager will be closed. .... (back to start)
I think you use drag and drop for select

- if you're not a developer, and you do not have the right tools, you can not do anything with the DMP files

- yes you can delete all files and folders of the "Windows/Users/Username/AppData/Local/Temp" folders.
  The TEMP folder contains only files or folders temporarily used by Windows or Applications.
  It may be that Windows refuses to delete some files or folders because they are in use. especially if they are of the current date.

- After cleaning the Temp folder, do not forget to empty the trash to recover the occupied space.
  (wait 1 or 2 days before doing this, in case you would need to restore some files)

Hi, Here's my spec.
W7 Pro..SP 1 64 bit..Processor Intel Core i7-2600...CPU @ 3.40 GHz -3.7 GHz...Memory  16Gb... NVIDIA  Quadro 600

I recently upgraded from Ic 5.5 to Ic 6.  I had one heck of a problem  installing it as it would not installl until I totally deleted it and redid it again.  I also downloaded the extras . I downloaed and instlled the REcource pack and it told me it was installed in the CONTENTS. 

ON trying to set the stage, nothing I tried worked at all.  I went to the AVATAR and it did show me the various sort of avatars but when I choes the G6.. It did NOT show me the pictures to choose from. I had to go into FIND THE FILE to actually be able to insert the character onto the set.  The CONTENT is just as bad. NOTHING shows. I got to the PROPS and still NOTHING. There should be a list ....I have SEEN it in some of the tutorial videos......
 All the resouces should be showing there, but again NOTHING.  In desperation I downloaded a chair from the warehouse and that was put as I thought and was told  into the CONTENTS.  Again not.. I managed to find it in the FIND FILE and was able then to drag it onto the SET.  I tried to SEE the list of TREES.. GRASS.. not one shows.  I tried opening the FOLDERS  to see if  the ICONS were in them.. But the FOLDERS would not open. Those are the folders above the content name on the left hand side of thescreen. 
Obviously I am missing something, But I have no clue as to how to get it to work. The help files are worse than useless too.. No help there.. I have used Ic5 for some time and I did get info on how to invert the screen colours and looking at the terrible Ic6 screen with GREY on BLACK is a total hardship for me as a VOAP. The V stands for VERY.with  sight that is now not nearly sgood as it was. Even with a magnifier it is still almost inpossible for me to read the items.  I need that info to invert Ic6 as well.
So you wanted me to give you feedback, I hope the above will give you some idea of the problems I am facing. I truly want to use Ic6 as from all the videos I have watched it seems to me to be a huge step forward in animation. And this is exactly what I as a film animator need. It obviously CAN work as thre are many videos of films people have made with it.
Help me, as I just CANNOT find a way to stay with it.
