I'm glad I'm not the only one having problems getting it to run. IC6 installed okay but when I click on the exe file, nothing happens. Made sure I am updated in Windows 7 and video driver. I meet all the system requirements so I hope they find a solution.

I'm having the same problem. iClone 6 does not start ! :angry:
And my PC is higher than requirements:
* Windows 7 SP1 (updated)
* Intel i7 3770 3.40Ghz 64-bit
* AMD Radeon HD7900
* Video Memory: 3GB
* RAM: 2x 4GB DDR3 1333Ghz
* Video Drivers updated

I spent the whole night trying to solve the problem without any success.

I need help!

Hi RL,

just having a minor issue:

I can´t sign in after iClone 6 start up. It tells me that I´m disconnected from the internet, but I´m always online:). I already adjusted my Firewall settings, but problem is still there.

I also can´t create a new account as the website is not available, so I guess is a server issue?

Unfortunately "sign in" is connected to the new "Package" feature, so I can´t use the installer feature at the moment.

Hope you can help me, thanks in advance for your support.

Tobias

Same initializing problem here.

Windows 7 64 bit (updated) in Italian
Intel Quad Q9400 @ 2.66 GHz
8 Giga RAM Memory
Two Invidia GeForce 9800 GTs in SLI (4 giga of dedicated RAM) updated drivers
When I check the specs for the system, it says DirectX 11 is installed

Tweaked the SLI settings and added iClone6 to the 3D settings on the card. iClone6 supports SLI, just as it did with iClone5. Don't know where the issue is.

I'm also getting the install error, it seems a bit common, and I've tried following many of the suggestions in this thread, but no luck yet.

Re-installed Dirextx11 and the latest driver for my Geforce 8800 GT,
Machine is an i7 with 24GB of ram, Windows 7

But getting; initialization failed, please check minimum requirements.... etc

Could use any suggestions

Can I just say, is it not your graphics card that's the problem but the way your pc defaults to the lower spec graphics card.I had this problem too.for those that have Intel graphics .say 4000 and a Nvidia dedicated card,go into your system tray ...lower right corner of your desktop and. Right click the Nvidia icon and go to its control panel,on the left hand side you will see an entry that says ,manage 3d settings, click this,from the drop down boxes search for the iclone exe.. It's situated at ,windows,program files,not program files x86 ,reallusion,iclone 6,bin64,select the exe and then choose which. Gpu processor will manage it..Nvidia processor and apply it...when you restart iclone it will use this instead of the Intel dedicated graphics ...which. Simply for me anyway crashed iclone before it got started..

Thanks, redrubyslippers! :) I had the same problem. Now it's okay.

I had the same problem with the exe file then after an hour of Homer Simpson head scratching
I had a Doh! moment....
I right clicked on the exe file and selected "Run as Administrator"
As a Win 8.1 user I'm finding more & more software require this step.

Hopefully this will solve the problem others are having.

Another failure !!!!!:w00t::w00t:

I am unable to open iClone 6, message appears "iClone Initialization Failed....."

Same here :angry:

I was about to give up - but then suddenly found a solution :D Seems that iClone couldn't figure out the graphic card if the setting was set on auto, so i set the card to switch 3D-graphics on always - no matter which program is used.

Don't know how this i going to affect the other programs :unsure: but got iClone6 to run.
