Ok, I just understood that the .zip contains the .exe files are not a patch but the real application, that must be substituted to the equivalent ones in the program file directory.
Next time, pls, clarify this ("update to program path" might be not 100% clear, as ppl usually expect a patch, rather than a file replacement).
Can you also feedback about why the Toolkit puppetering control does not control the mouth of the new avatars ? The website seems saying exactly the opposite. A clarification is due to those who has already bought this plug-in (like me....): is this a bug or is there any tricky way to be able to control the mouth, together with the other parts of the face, according to the emotion ?
Thanks

Actually RL was probably trying to do us all a favor with the no hair G3 fiasco. Instead of having the user pull out all their hair over lame IC5 they programmed the G3 characters to do all the virtual hair pulling in sympathy of our frustrations.
Animation is wonderful... all is possible! :D IC6 will probably include character assisted suicides... oh forgot... they already tried to implement that feature with the G2's last year :P

IT is a certain fact software evolution (understand "evolution" NOT as improvement but just as "change") unfortunately leads to a critical stage where Murphy's law will manifest: "If something can go wrong, it will!" Each individual software change, no matter how trivial it may seem requires a true, formal and extensive testing process. But not only to test the affected or "modified" part of the software but ALL! Sudden patches, fixes and additions can create havoc as it seems impossible to overall test a complete package in ALL it's features, menus, tools and functions! Consequences sometimes can be disastrous for developers like in my case. Many of the "changes", "improvements" and additions rendered some of my products inoperative, requiring me to rebuild and recompile but also to retire some which could not be totally recovered. I do hope RL will find a path to a more stable upgrade process, while KEEPING compatibility with older formats as all good pieces of software should do!

moviemaker: "@peterblood Most of users use g3 a lot," :) Thank God my friend, I really thought I've been lagging behind by not using the G5's. I KNEW I was when I used G1's in my vid but I couldn't find any G3 warrior armor. Hint, hint to our designer friends. Hell, I'd even put Chuck on steroids and give Gwynn a Thorazine injection (Her eyes are like <<:w00t:>> Village of the Damned!) if you only wanted to design for G5's. ...Big Bucks waiting... Just sayin' pete

Hi, my first post as a newbie. I have 5 pro and mocap 1.0 then used live update and patch to 5.31 but now my mocap plugin is incompatible. what should I do? I tried uninstalling the 1.0 plugin and downloading the latest trial version of the ms sdk but still it won't work, Thanks, Ross
