Hi Friends, I'm having trouble with making a map for a 3D stick figure head. I'm guessing this is a super-basic question, but I cannot solve it. All I'm after is making a flat texture map I can apply eyes and mouth to with different expressions, like simple text emoticons (smiley face, :0-oh no face, etc...).  Basically just a GIMP-editable flat file for mapping onto a sphere, but I cannot figure it out.
