My submission for this contest is to create a cyberpunk character, and as the new Cyberpunk 2077 game is releasing soon thought now would be a great opportunity to make a model like that. I have created a post in Artstation with my process so far, but I'll post everything in here as well.

The process of making this character is:
Create the base in CC3 and use SkinGen to create better skin textures and add a cyberpunk style skin decal on the model.
Bring it into ZBrush to export the base for Marvelous Designer
Create the clothing in Marvelous Designer, retopologise the clothing in Marvelous Designer and then export to ZBrush.
Stitch the points in ZBrush and project the high poly to the low poly.
Add some more detail if needed in ZBrush and export to Maya.
Create the hair using Ornatrix and make hair cards to use in CC3.
Create the material groups to export to Substance Painter
Texture the clothing in Substance Painter.
Export everything to CC3 and create the weight maps for the clothing and hair in Photoshop/Substance Painter
Render in Iclone.

Finished the character design, so I may end up creating a weapon for the character before I submit it, but here are my renders in CC3 using IRay

Love your character design and I am glad you are using Marvelous designer. Something different than zbrush.
One thing that stands out in your renders however is the implant on the head and neck. there is separation that forces the eye back an forth between photoreal cartoonish and cartoon. you might want to work on the implant pbr materials some more so that they blend better with the skin quality. Also the neon stripe on the jacket looks very flat as well . it could use some highlights to give it some shape. Just an observation. Hope this helps.

Thanks Cris. I will have a look into changing the materials a bit as that's a good idea to help it stand out a bit more. At the moment I'm probably going to work on my cartoon/stylised character as it always helps to take a break from one single character. But I'll keep in mind your advice before I submit this model.
