Although resistant to the cost I went ahead and purchased the 3DX Pipeline so that I could export to FBX but I'm still having issues with the files.

What I am trying to do:
I am trying to create a specific pose of a character, to export as FBX. Ultimately I'll use these files to create a still scene that appears to be an action scene that was paused to use in an AR project with BlippAR. The problem is that every time I attempt to use my exported FBX file in the BlippAR system, the character seems to be back in the original T pose and I have no idea why.

I'm not well versed in the use of these types of files so I'm just not sure if it's a user error or if it's a function that isn't possible. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know what the BlippAR system is, but you have to find a way to reference the pose you export inside that app. T-pose always travel with FBX regardless.
Like in Blender I have a selection between "Rest position" and "Pose position".
"Rest position" would always be a T-pose (depending on application fbx is exported from - iClone in this case).
And the "Pose position" is the actual pose I have set before exporting.

Another example: Peter (RL) pointed this out in regards to Unreal in this thread just recently. So most likely you would have to find some similar settings in your app.

BTW: If your app could take OBJ files you would not have to buy a Pipeline. You could export any pose to OBJ with 3DX Pro

Not sure if this is helpfull

I dont have pipline version of 3DExchange but I tried this.

Posed the charater as I wished then opened Morth Creator you can see the posed charater in the screen.
I then went to file/export obj and selected the export all option.

This exported the charater in the pose position.

As I say not sure if this helps just a thought.

Chris.
