That sucks, I was going to buy this Monday, I would have been highly annoyed finding out after the fact. I'll keep an eye on it, if they ever add it I will probably pick it up. Polaraul (3/28/2019)
OldAssMan (3/28/2019) Glad I saw this, I was about to pull the trigger to buy this software but if I cannot export basic morphs for use in my game it renders it useless for me. The ability to use blend shapes in the game is a must. Sad that Blender (Free software) has more flexibility and use. Guess I may have to get used to using Blender...Happy that you found this out before you purchased, I was not so lucky. I would agree, the ability to use blend shapes in a game is a must. RL has remained silent on this, even though this is the top voted item on their own feed back tracker. https://www.reallusion.com/FeedBackTracker/Issue/Exporting-morphs-to-game-engines-like-unreal-or-unity

Of course blender is a different product... comparison is the fact that it does a a lot of the same processes.
Easy is a relative term, it is just learning a different process. At least it will export animations in a actual usable format for me. I really like some things about CC3, some others are lacking. They have gotten better but not to the point I am willing to drop hundreds of dollars on a product that lacks basic functionality I require.Maybe someday if they add it I will pick it up.

RL should at least be given some credit for working on improving the pipeline to game engines. Blender is a different product all together, so comparison is useless. You're welcome to go that route. It will not be easy.

What about this though from the EULA? "You may not do the following applications unless getting explicit permission from Reallusion: Use the characters or their morph assets to build up another character generation system in games or interactive services" That is to avoid that you make a "game" but in fact you are making a competing product for CC3. To avoid something like Vroid, to give you an idea. But I think it is fair for you to contact Reallusion and ask them clarifications.

Just to add "info", I was seeing this video about daz to cc3 to a game engine morphs targets, I read in the comments:
"They(RL) told me they are working on transferring the body morphs from Daz to CC3, lets hope it will be ready soon!"
"They said it will be available this year July - September. There is something that may never happen though and it really makes CC3 useless - exporting the morph sliders. I have done a research and based on their EULA "You may not do the following applications unless getting explicit permission from Reallusion: Use the characters or their morph assets to build up another character generation system in games or interactive services"So we may never have a way to export the blend sliders, which is a huge deal breaker for me, it means I can only use CC3 for simple NPCs that dont have any customization or any kind of facial expressions. I see a lot of people request this and I think we should keep asking them to let us export the morph sliders until they do it."
from @Fly Renders
So yes, I think RL could make some clarification about this, 1) Are full morphs target planned? 2) Is there any restriction to modify characters between a game context? no exports or related to character generation to extract/export a mesh, just in the game context.
I post the video here in case someone find it useful.

animagic (3/19/2019) Rather than speculating here on the forum, I think it would be more productive to contact RL directly with any EULA concerns.
We are just users here and willing and sometimes able to help you with technical questions, but anything legal is another matter.I was kind of hoping that someone from RL took note of these forums.

lollosone (3/19/2019) and don't worry about making a character maker inside your game; there is nothing in the EULA that say that you can't make a character creation. What about this though from the EULA? "You may not do the following applications unless getting explicit permission from Reallusion: Use the characters or their morph assets to build up another character generation system in games or interactive services"
