Hi All,
I am sure this has asked before but I searched and couldn't find any answers.
I am new to animation and intend to do some stuff for home only. What are the main restrictions of the Standard version over the Pro version and will they likely impact someone at my level ?

Many thanks for the help.

Cheers,
gary

Hi Gary,

The main restriction of the Standard version is that it lacks the custom character creation features. The Standard version is primarily designed for those who just want to use the included content or use content from purchased add-on packs. Please click the link below to see the full version comparison.

Hi Everyone,  I would recommend purchasing pipeline. I've watched enough people complain about purchasing pro.  You will pay a lot more money in the future if you want to upgrade to pipeline in the future.   have a great weekend

Hi Gary. My advice would be to buy the Pipeline version, simply because you have everything you will ever need from the start. You don't want to use the software and then discover down the track that you want to create a couple of custom items yourself and you have to pay to upgrade. Get it all at once and you won't be sorry. It's an awesome program. Best of luck with it. And if you need any advice, drop me a line at garrypye@bigpond.net.au always happy to help.
