Hello,
I searched the forum, but unfortunately did not find an answer. I installed SO MANY packs and props in iClone 6, and I was wondering if there is a way to just import them to iClone 7 without having to reinstall them all. I know where the custom files that I created are stored and I already moved them to iClone 7, just I did not find the other Props that I installed from packs.

OR AT LEAST, WHAT I WANT TO BE ;)

Don't know if this is the best way. But I did it this way. I opened Iclone 6 and found the files I wanted moved, Right click on files to find file location. this opens a windows file location. then open Iclone 7 to same location they should be under  in iclone 7 repeat find file and copy over.

Then under package where non downloaded files are. you can open this file location and delete the links to download the files you moved over. I clicked on each file I moved to make sure I deleted the correct link to the file I moved.

You can actually do it 3 different ways.
make copies of every thing.
cut and move everything (what I did)
create short cuts ( time consuming) this is what should have happened when we installed Iclone 7  ( don't know if this is a wide spread problem or not)
It wasn't a massive deal to just cut and move for me.

You can access all of your iClone 6 - and even 5, content directly from within iClone 7 without having to move/copy anything.
In the Content Manager panel click on the "Package" icon and then on the "Custom" tab - see Screen grab below. This will show a "Folder" containing all of your content saved in your iClone 6 "Template" Folder - it does not show any content stored in your iClone 6 "Custom" Folders. The "Folder" and the underlying Folders are all just links to your iClone 6 Template Folder - nothing has been copied or moved on your system. In order to have access to all of your iClone 6 Resource Pack and purchased content you need to keep iClone 6 installed.

If you wish to use your Custom content then you will need to copy or move all of it to your iClone 7 Custom Folder.

If you don't wish to keep iClone 6 on your system you can just select Copy and Paste to get everything from one version to the next. A lot of items in iClone 7 have the same names as those in iClone 6 but may have been updated for the new version. If doing a Copy & Paste, or Move, make sure that you do not overwrite items with the same names in the Folders.
