Hey People Renderosity.com recently reviewed CrazyTalk5, commenting on its short learning curve and stability. "It is a simple, but very powerful program that is so easy to use just about anyone will be importing and animating their images within minutes." Thanks for posting the link, Peter. I wrote this review and was very pleased with how it turned out. CT is a great product and the new version 5 is excellent. After I finished the review, I've been continuing to use CT5 on a Machinima project shot in Gary's Mod. We are adding slight facial animation to several static close ups. After several days of work, my respect for this program is even higher. -Ricky Grove

Thanks very much for the support. I am also a big fan of Garrys Mod, It sounds like the project will turn out great. Please post the link once you're finished.

sorry for the delay in posting the link to the film. It's called "Clockwork" and we used CT to create facial animation in about 6 shots. The idea was to use a static (non-moving) image of the face at the start of a close up, take a high res snapshot of the first frame, import it into CT, create a facial animation using the puppeteering feature, export it as uncompressed avi, then import it back into DV editing software to insert where the close up was originally. This method allows you to create facial animation (if only a few) in a program (Gary's Mod) that doesn't have facial animation as part of the program. You can see the film at machiniplex.com. It's the fourth one in from the left at the bottom, just mouse over the B&W pix of the guy pointing the gun at the viewer and you'll see "Clockwork" appear; click and the movie will begin to play. It's about 10 minutes long. Thanks!
