I think exporting to Omniverse for rendering  is an awful experience. I now it is faster and supposedly better but unless one is doing like a AAA project in a lot of cases it just isn't worth it. An Iray plugin would just be better. I want that option why was it taken out?

Exporting to Omniverse isn't that smooth and there are often things that need adjustment on export. It takes way more work than it should. All that time saving for working in Iclone is plain undone when when has to use a different program for rendering. I get that if one had a ton of video every second saved on rendering counts but I think for a lot of common users like myself, it is a an awful user experience despite Reallusion's best efforts making it as easy as possible. I'd be willing to pay for the an Iray plugin.

Thank you for the feedback. I will pass this on for review.

Unfortunately the Iray Plug-in was discontinued some time ago and instead we moved to support Omniverse which has greatly improved rendering options. Sadly there are no plans to reintroduce the Iray Plug-in at this time.

While at first the pipeline from iClone to Omniverse may appear to slow your productivity, but if you wish to utilize the powerful ray tracing features offered by Nvidia and their RTX graphics cards, then this is the way to go. Once mastered you will find that renders from Omniverse are far superior to those obtainable from the older Iray Plug-in.

I am having some issues with Omniverse currently since the 8.5 update that i would greatly appreciate some help with. Please see the images i have attached. For some reason the hair, eyes, eyebrows and nails are not coming into omniverse correct and i have no idea why this has suddenly started to happen. Could you kindly advise me on what i need to do to fix this? it use to come in smoothly and everything would work fine and now suddenly theres major issues. This is an RTX Real Time use case and even with path trace the hair textures turn white and are unusable. Would really appreciate any help.
