Hi! In the Content Manager, if you right click on a thumbnail there is the option to 'Animate Thumbnail', similar to what you see on ActorCore - but it does not work - there is no animation. Is this what it is supposed to do? Am I doing something wrong? Really Appreciate your help! Thanks,

Hi... The right click option for animated thumbnails is to toggle it on or off but this only applies to packs which have animated thumbnails. Not all of them do. So if you select a motion pack in Content Manager that has animated thumbnails they will display as shown below. 76% of original size (was 662x19) - Click to enlarge

Thanks Peter, Quick followup question: How do we create an animated thumbnail for an animation? If I right+click on an animation and select Load Thumbnail... I am presented with static image otions like JPG and PNG. How do I create an animated thumbnail? Thanks in advance!

Still no answer to this question. So far I have tried animated PNG files, Animated GIFs and WEBP animated file. Only the animated PNG file is recognized when loading the thumbnail and it only shows the first frame: it does not animate at all. Is the ability to create an animate thumbnail proprietary to Reallusion? So far I have not seen animated thumbnails in anything other than Reallusion original content. @Peter - Let me know if this IS propietary so I stop wasting time trying to figure it out, lol. Animated thumbnails for animations makes perfect sense though, so I hope this is possible.

Hi Jeff Currently there is no way to add custom animated thumbnails. At present the animated GIF's used for each pack are stored on our backend server, but we will consider allowing local saving in a future update.

I was hoping maybe there has been an update to this saving an animated thumbnail as this post was over a year ago. I'm creating a pack for the store and trying to do this very same thing. Has there been an update yet?
