Wow. That is all so complicated. LOL. I WISH my brain was faster! Hahaha. So I... make a new joint in Maya, connected to another joint. And.. do stuff. And things. LOL. OK well, maybe one day I'll learn how to do that!

So I... make a new joint in Maya, connected to another joint. And.. do stuff. And things. LOL. OK well, maybe one day I'll learn how to do that!You can add joints/skeletons to any mesh now in 5.3 , no need to go to Maya or any other DCC.

I've been looking everywhere the past few days for a simple way to transfer the UE5 Control Rig to a CC4 Character. The best option I found was an old tut on here on how to transfer a UE4 Control Rig to a CC3 Character. Does this method work with the UE5 Control Rig and CC4 Characters?

IClone/CC4 exports as Mannequin skeleton , so only the Mannequin Control Rig will work. If you want to use a Meta Human CR you need the Manny or Quinn Skeleton.

Hi guys!
I always thought the'Export Head' function in Character Creator also exported the wrinkle maps for all states when you export for a MetaHuman. But as far as I can see all exported extra normal maps WM1+2+3 are all the same as the base normal map. The diffuse map however does have the correct WM1+2+3 textures.
Is this correct of can somebody confirm?

Thanks @bassline! So can I use that same method but with a mannequin for a cc4 character?
Basically what I'm trying to use is the method that you and virtual films came up with to control a metahuman with a cc4 character by making the metahuman a child in the blueprint. The only issue I was having is when I wanted to tweak the animation with control rig and do additive animation, the cc4 parent rig didn't have q control rig I could use.
So I was trying to find a way to add any type of control rig to the cc4 character just so I can make some manual adjustments in the sequencer to the animation it applies to the child metahuman character.
