I'm playing with the new Crowd Generator and see if WE CAN USE CC3 & 4 created characters. ( we can!) 
However, to save resources on my CPU I decimated the characters to under 10k. ( some are optimized but are at 70k poly) ( this may be causing the issue)
When I play the MD button the CC4 characters move BUT some are displaying glitchy and stretched-out skins. Is this due to the 70K characters or something else?
I'm going to play around to see how I can fix it but I'm only asking because iClone crashed as I'm typing. 

Is anyone else running into issues using the new feature? If so how did you overcome it?

While I don't know if it's true (because of the season I haven't had time to play with it at all yet) I do know that Anima (which is a very similar process) using your own characters the key is texture maps.  Polys aren't, per se, the real issue - the issue is to keep your maps VERY small and not many of them.  So I would suspect that consolidating the textures into one map AND making this map no more than 128 would be ideal (and I think CC4 can do this on export).

If this IS true it would also go along with iClone (which itself rarely has issue with even millions of polys, but can be slowed to a crawl with even just a few 4K textures on sets).
