Why do you need new dummies? Metahuman Live Link Kit UE5, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3 ??? In the last 3 years, I think we have received new dummies 3 times, you should call them the UE5 versions. Greetings Robert

OH man.. you're the king. Mea Culpa... for some reason, I had the body dimension settings changed in that animation editor. You saved me a lot of nerves. Thank you :) ..and to all who were interested of this problem ( mrtobycook)

Does anybody have any solution to the strange specular hair in Unreal? They looked much better when creating the metahuman.

try to deactivate "virtual shadow map" in the project settings. Also , are you using raytracing ? What kind of light sources are you using?

Hi Basseline303 and thanks for the quicl reply. Raytracing is enabled in the project settings but I am currently using Lumens . The lights source come from an asset I bought. There are a whole bunch of them:

And I just read this in my log. I hit fix but it didn't fix anything. Edit: It shouldn't change anything I am using Metahuman Hair and not Reallusion's hair. ;) 24% of original size (was 2173x148) - Click to enlarge

Nono , it has nothing to do with it. Mostly it is the light , deactivate the lights which are lighting the groom and see what happens , try to activate deep shadows in the light , it is hard to say from here without seeing the whole scene and post process settings. Also is it realtime light or baked light ? A lot of Epic Marketplace Maps have baked lights for better performance , then you should rebuild the lights for the scene , above under "build/Build all levels or "Build Lighting Only". But the best quality you will get with realtime lights (Moveable) : 24% of original size (was 2173x148) - Click to enlarge Here are some Tips : https://dev.epicgames.com/community/learning/tutorials/Ya6o/unreal-engine-rendering-hair-fur.

I made all the lights movable so it uses lumen real time global illumination. and the scene looks as great as before. It seems like the only thing that does not works are the hair. The rest is amazing. Thanks so much for your time and help but you are right , it 's not easy for you to troubleshoot this at a distance. I will try to figur it out. 24% of original size (was 2173x148) - Click to enlarge

@Jfrog , some more thoughts ,
activate raytrace shadows in the project settings ( if it isn't already) and double click on the groom , under strands there are buttons to activate raytracing and other things , also increase or decrease the hair width. Are you using strands or hair cards? Could be a LOD thingy too ....
