When I edit the foot position of a motion clip I made of a charater walking, using Motion Director, it seems to corrupt the entire animation by adjusting the root level. It's easier to demonstrate than explain, so this very shor tvideo show what I'm talking about.

You have to exercise caution when editing flatten clips. A single change does affect entire clip.Useful if you need to tweak a clip globally. But in most cases when you need to make a slight bones adjustment you have to isolate the affected area with full body keyframes before and after the change. In addition use Body Part Mode when possible for actual tweaking.

A really easy fix for this would be to just add a key a little before and a little after. Then ad the key and adjust it at the frame you need adjusted. That would then just transition from the little bit before key, to the adjusted, to the little bit after key.
The key you added affected the entire clip because there were no other keys.

Ah, thanks! I did just sample the legs and not the rest. I'll try that now.
