Hi, I am new with working with CC4, I have used the trial before and got more realistic characters working fine. I have purchased CC4 now with the Cartoon Character Designer, created a test character and imported into Unreal Engine 5.1.
The bone structure looks fine in CC4 but once it is in unreal it is different, to the point some rotation points are far away from the body, such as the lower arm.
I've attached what it looks like in CC4 and Unreal. If there are any documents or videos anyone recommends that can help.
My process was
- Create Character in CC4
- Export FBX Clothed Character using Unreal Target Tool Pre-set (Tried both Mesh, and Mesh and Motion both with the same results)
- Imported into Unreal using the plugin
