Hello! So I didn't quite like some things and wanted to fix them up in blender. After making my edits and importing back in to cc4, I've run into a problem where Eye Occlusion and Tearline do not behave properly. They move with the head but are otherwise static, as in they don't move/deform with the eye.
I've tried removing and re-adding these elements as well as "Fix Eye Element", neither of these works and the result is the same :/

Also, side question: When I import back into cc4, the character imports with no materials and I have to set them all manually. Am I doing something wrong? Is there an easier way?

Just searching for the solution in UE5 myself (have not yet asked for it ;) )

Regarding Blender, i hope that someone like "AutoDidact" might take a look at it...

To return with materials intact try Blender Pipeline: https://www.reallusion.com/character-creator/blender.html

Now for Blendshapes (even with pipeline) I get all kind of issues.

So my workaround for now:

Do not export brows (if it is a separate Hair>Brow) ! It is not coming back properly. Delete them and reinstate after import back to CC.
1. Export with Blender profile - "Mesh and Expression sequence". Uncheck Embed Texture. Keep this export aside.
2. Export with Blender pipeline.
3. Import to Blender (file from step 2) and work with character. Do not change Blendshapes.
4. Export out of Blender (for proper import/export check pipeline instructions).
5. Import to CC with Pipeline.
7. Delete Occlusion and Tear Line meshes.
8. Reinstate them with "Add Eye Element".
9. Open Face Profile Editor and use Export file from Step 1 to import Blendshapes as "FBX With Frame Sequence".

All should be good now with expressions including Occlusion and Tear Lines.

I was using that pipeline but it wasn't enough for the textures but you did set me on the right path to finding the solution.

Ohhh I see, I kinda just chalked that up as engine-specific lighting which I haven't really gone in to mess with yet. My project is in it's very early stages so I'm just putting things in and getting them to work before I worry about finessing anything.
