Hi,

A while ago, reallusion released this sneak peak video of cc4 on YouTube. In the beginning first few seconds, there is an anime style character. Does anyone know how it was created? Wether it was imported from an external software or it was created straight from cc4.

https://youtu.be/b-dH4VK_EDE

I would love to be able to create anime style characters but the only software that I know is VRoid, but there isn’t an easy way of getting VRoid characters into character creator.

Not 100% but it looks like it could be exported outta VRoid.
VRoid is an anime character creation program. Not great but not bad either, and it's free so you got nothin to lose.

I don’t think it’s VRoid. I got the new CC4 and it doesn’t seem to support importing VRoid characters.

This requires a plugin
I hope the RL team makes an update to support these characters as well.

If you want to do it the long way, you can transfer it to unreal engine using the VRM4U plugin.
Then you can export as fbx and import to iClone. However, you need to rearrange the materials, because the unreal engine does not export the material. You can only get textures.

I'll do a test on that later.
