Hello folks....
At this address: https://manual.reallusion.com/Character_Creator_3/ENU/3/Content/Character_Creator_3/3/15_Substance/Adding_Decal_to_Cloth.html

You will find a page on Adding Decals to Cloths. However no matter what I try, can't get it going on my Character Creator 3.44.4709.1

Any ideas?     Thanks

For some reason, known only to the gurus at RL, the link to the manual page returns a "Page not found" error. I found the page and it states that the user must first own 2 packs in order to add decals:

Do you own these packs?

I don't own the packs. I have been buying some of the clothes separately. At $3 each right now, you can't go wrong buying some.
And the accessory scarfs are only $1. This is a cheaper and easier way to get them. Plus you get 1000 DA points for giving at least
3 reviews for them. And if you give enough to get in the top 5, you get 5000 DA points. That is how I have been adding to my inventory.
I am able to create extra clothes by using opacity. I am happy.

I'm not quite sure that purchasing a single item of clothing would provide the OP with the ability to add decals.  :Whistling:

Unfortunately adding custom decals or logos to clothing requires either the CC Essentials Clothing and Fabric Pack or the Professional Outfits Pack. It isn't a default option.

Ok, thanks, they are other ways around, for example, modifying textures.

If you like the clothes from the Professional outfit pack, and you don't want to spend $150, the cheapest way to get most of those clothes is to buy them at 40% off right now for $3.
Then you can add your own decals to the textures by using your favorite photo software.  Also, learning how to use RGB is a great help too.

Here is a rose flower I applied to the business shirt, using Photofiltre.(free). I Googled "rose patch". I made a western style shirt for the character.
I layered the rose patch over the shirt and saved. You can adjust the size and location of the flower in Photofiltre.
I think the photo was from Walmart or Amazon. It had a white background, and I just made a transparency of the rose.https://forum.reallusion.com/uploads/images/bf918075-f6f6-4e9c-ad29-2f46.jpg

Highly recommend the Professional Outfit Pack...now that i have it i've added Decals to other shirts.  That said I imported an OBJ, modified, etc and when i apply the decal it applies to the entirety of the fabric and it cannot be scaled...imagine i'm missing something but just can figure it out!
