Me too. Reallusion, where's the support for this? Fortunately I haven't spent the money yet. I am ready to but not feeling confident here

Posting this here in hope it helps someone going forward --
I emailed Support and asked:

Hello,Does Faceware Studio still connect with iClone 8? I have read all the documentation I can find, and I have gone through all the video tutorials (which are iClone 7 only) and cannot get the plugin to connect. I've also been through the forums and found other members with unanswered questions too, so hoping someone from Reallusion might have an answer.I have a license for Faceware Studio 1.5I have iClone 8, Motion Live and a trial of the Faceware Profile.I can connect the two programs via motion live, but when I stream data from Faceware Studio, the characters do not inherit the mocap data. For clarity, I have enabled face tracking for the character under 'Faceware Live' (not to be confused with LIVE FACE), I click preview and then hit space and nothing happens with the characters face. I am familiar with the workflow with Motion Live, so I believe I am doing everything correct here. Does the plugin still work with iClone 8? I was hoping to purchase the plugin, but I'm unable to get it to work at all and so far I haven't found any examples of someone who has. I'd like to take advantage of the Black Friday sales, so any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

And got the response:****************************************

Thank you for contacting Reallusion.
Unfortunately, you cannot connect iClone with Faceware Studio.
We can an entrance in Motion Live for the legacy Faceware Studio. But not for the current Faceware Studio.
Please get the Faceware profile for connecting with Faceware.
