It would be nice to have a virtual camera connector that would allow a filmmaker to attach a physical device to a camera in iClone and and operate it from the physical device. This can be done via the motion live stuff where by an iPhone, or any other device such as a vive tracker, or vr controller can be used to feed the positional data. Pair this with a couple keyboard shortcuts for starting and stopping the recording and iclone could have a nice tool that would allow for better filmmaking possibilities. I do this in unreal engine fairly easily and to be honest if i had a tool like this in iclone, i provably wouldn't need to work with Unreal.
Bonus point if you can have the virtual camera view be easily exported via hdmi as an external monitor. This would allow live visualization and recording to an outside recording device or monitor without adding any strain to the core system.
here's a demo of what i mean. I do this in Unreal as part of my Virtual production workflow.
