Senior Member Group: Forum Members Last Active: 3 Years Ago Posts: 17, Visits: 51	Ive seen videos showing all I have to do to set up a background image prop is click and drag the file into CC3 viewport. But it wont let me drop the image file anywhere in the UI or viewport, FBX works fine but no image file extension is allowed. Why?

Distinguished Member Group: Forum Members Last Active: Last Month Posts: 15.8K, Visits: 31.3K	Try right-clicking and dragging the image. That should give you options for "Plane" and "Image layer". Plane would give you a background. You can move and resize the plane as needed. Image layer is used for foreground masks. The behavior is different from iClone, where left-clicking and dragging is also effective and gives you a 2D scene background (which is different from a plane as it fills the background and cannot be scaled or moved).
