Hello,

Quick question I can't find an answer for - see sets like this https://www.daz3d.com/khans-tiger-den does the water move as in it's animated after using Transformer? or is it a static water?

Many thanks

Barry

Oddly enough I don't have that set (it's just odd in that I don't recall ever seeing it and it's been out a while).

In any case, any water coming from Daz won't animate in iClone.  What I always do is replace such water (either by deleting the prop or just turning the texture transparent) with regular iClone water, which works well in nearly all cases.

Hi Mike,

I just tried a test import following your advice previously to use CC Transformer https://www.daz3d.com/garden-beauty-bundle followed your video and....it looks odd it doesnt have the textures as per what it looks like in Daz Studio.

(even got the premium at $42)

None of the water features textures will come over properly - I do cover this in my tutorials but in this case it's both because of a bad dev (he puts his textures in separate folders down lower from the base) as well as the fact all those textures are for iRay only (which won't work in iClone).

The Garden Arches textures *will* come over (or at least should) but I can't try it right at the moment.  You might try the Rose Arbour and see (and if they don't I'll see if I can find where those textures should be relocated).

Again, as I state time and time in my tutorials, we can only get it right IF the devs also get it right.  In this case there are a lot of things wrong that no amount of automation can fix.

(And I've also said this time and time again - before anyone buys ANYTHING from Daz they ought to ask me first.  I will tell them what will and won't work).

As I suspected, the Rose Garden looks fine (be aware there are two instances of the back bush - you can remove the instances by collapsing to objects using a script inside of Daz, or you can just duplicate the bush inside of iClone).

It's funny, to me the DAZ renders on the product page look like they don't evolve, especially the hair of the girl. It's a DAZ look...
