Hi.

I would like to know if the music background can be active when doing LiveFace2D motion capture.
I have a background music and want to lipsync using the music background for multiple Actors. The fact is when I pess sapcebar the music doesn't play.

It is supposed to be like that or can I activate it?
It doesn't even play if I add the music to an Actor.

Greets and Merry Christmas to all!

Hello @ facr73,

Currently, Recording in Motion Live does not automatically play Background Music.
If you have any needs in this regard, please go to Feedback Tracker to submit your thoughts.

Background Music and Lip-sync are two different functions. If you want to add Lip-sync, my suggestion is not to add the audio file to the Timeline of Background Music, but to the voice clip of the character.

As long as the file format is wav or mp3, the voice clip on the character should be able to be played smoothly and lip-sync to the character during recording. If not, please go to Technical Support so that we can check the question attentively.

Hi, @DanielC_RL

I've tried to addo to the actor's voice clip but when I press the spacebar the music doesn't play (mp3). Also I had to delete all lip keys from that actor.

I'm new to 2D animation and I don't have eperience (I also bought CA4 recently) but my goal was:

I was trying to do an animated Christmas scene where I add a background and a typical Christmas music of my country. After that I wanted to add some actors with the heads changed (real persons) and then record the lip motion (Face3d Tracker) while the music was playing.
I end up not doing the animated scene I want.
What I did was add an Actor, save the Face Animation and paste to the other actors.. Not a good solution.

I will add this to the Feedback Tracker and also I will open a ticket about the music not playing when I added the voice clip and used Face3D.

Thank you very much for your attempts and feedback. We will actively deal with all the problems you encounter. Please also let us know if you have any other questions.

By the way, I’m very interested in your country’s Christmas songs, I'm wondering if it's ok for you to share them here:)

Wish you all the best!
Daniel

Hi Daniel

The song I was referring is this one: A todos um bom Natal (Merry Christmas to all).
I said is typical because the childern's choir that sings that song performs it in a TV show that is held in a hospital called Natal nos Hospitais (direct translation would be "Christams in Hospitals"). Every year they perform it.

Greets and  wishes of a great 2021
