Expand your timeline, highlight your audio file placing the cursor where you'd like to make the edit, right click and select "break."
Depending on the size of your audio clip if might take up to a couple of minutes, but it'll create two sections of your clip. Highlight the one you want to get rid of and delete it.
You can then reposition your audio file by dragging it

Hi
Thank you for the assist. I am struggling on one point. I cannot get the cursor from record me to play music at the same time. I need to try and delete the first second of my recording to make the lip synch work. Can I do that?

Hi...

A simple way to work around the problem is to do the following:

1. Put on some headphones to listen to the song, and then record your own voice in CrazyTalk 8 singing along. This will generate the lip-syncing.
2. Then apply the music file (mp3, wav) to the Music Track in CrazyTalk 8.
3. Finally turn down the vocal volume on the play bar and just have the music volume up.
4. Now when you export to video the CT8 character will appear to be singing the song and you won't hear your own voice.

Hi. Just bought Crazy Talk 8. Trying to animate a song. How do you stop the mouth moving during a musical intro? Grateful for any assistance!
