cc3 export only head ?

Hey just a noob question for an upcoming Character Artist.
Is it possible in cc3 or iClone with the "hide Mesh " option where i can hide some parts of the Body, to Export only the head to make it more comfortable with maybe some Racesuites or something. I dont really need he fullbody for a Race Suite, right ?
I tried " hide mesh" and export as OBJ to make a fast try. but there is the full body. nothing hide. is this working with FBX or how i can manage to export just the head ? thanks for anwser
