Does anybody knows how to create a "slideshow" effect on a plane?
From start - video excluded :D

When I realised that object's texture squares are green, I was in heaven, "wow, they are keyframable, I can change plane textures at keyframes, so I will have photo slides!". Well, not so fast, young padawan. So, apart from using video, I didn't find a confortable solution.

Thanks.

Do you mean swapping out the diffuse material with key frames? I don’t think that possible but would be awesome. That was easily done in Muvizu. Surprised that isn’t possible in iClone but I ha ent found a way aside from pre-assembling the slide show in another program then dragging the video into a plane in iclone.

Make one Base color map and evenly tile your slide images. Then set UV tiles respectively.
That is if you have 4 tiles, set U and V tiles to 0.5

Then play with UV offset on the timeline to display them like:
U=0, V=0
U=0.5, V=0.5
U=0, V=0.5
U=0.5, V=0

You can slide, or made them stepped with Curve presets.
Combine with Glow/Blend channels for some effects...

Here I made a basic slide show on a plane

Ahhhh... nice workaround. I guess technically it could work with videoed as well. But you’d still need to heavily edited the video to a really weird shape with a split screen. Much more effective with pictures.
