I just re-installed CC3, and I don't remember if its suppose to do this, but when I place one of my full body custom characters on the work area the character takes over the clothes and pose of the  of the default or prior displayed character??  Any advise?

Hi...

If you load a character from Project > Character you will be prompted with the message below. If you choose "Load Avatar" it will completely replace the character already loaded but will keep any pose you may have applied. However if you load a preset from Base > Skin & Morph it will only change the skin texture and morphs but will retain the clothing, hair and pose. That may be what you are doing in this case.
